Working With NonProfit Boards
This is a series of workshops designed to help strengthen non-profit organizations and their board members. These workshops are being offered by the Walterboro-Colleton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Clemson’s Institute on Economic and Community Development. The third workshop will include:
Feb. 11th - Creating an Engaged Volunteer Workforce: this workshop will offer tips on defining volunteer duties, recruiting volunteers, establishing expectations, and how you fire a volunteer who is not performing.
Working with Non Profit Boards will be offered on Thursday mornings from 8:00 am until 10:00 am at the Clemson Extension office in the Bernard Warshaw Building at 219 South Lemacks Street. Clemson’s office is located at the Black Street entrance.
You can sign up to attend all 4 sessions for $60 or individual sessions for $20 each. Chamber members can attend all 4 sessions for $40 or individual sessions for $15 each. Registration is required and space is limited.
