Diversity in STEM Event

USC Salkehatchie is hosting a Diversity in STEM event on Friday, March 17, from 1:00pm-2:00pm at the Carolina Theatre in Allendale, SC (please see attached flyer). This event is free and open to the public. This event will feature speaker Steven Brown speaking about his journey into engineering and STEM, diversity in STEM, and a little about leadership and motivation. Steven Brown is a Williston native who was named the Black Engineer of the Year for Community Service at the Black Engineer of the Year Awards (BEYA) STEM Conference in 2018.
